Jan Newman CVT is our all-around go-to-gal both in the treatment area and surgery and at the reception desk. Jan is an active member of the Veterinary Technician Association of Arizona and the American Animal Hospital Association. Jan is currently ‘owned’ by so many pets we’re still counting them all! Harmony Stapley has been a part of Sun Lakes Animal Clinic since March of 2002 and is an integral part of Sun Lakes Animal Clinic. Harmony has extensive knowledge in the veterinary field and you will find her working alongside Dr. Walker. Harmony came with a Scholastic Diploma from Westwood High School as well as having attended nearly 2 years at Mesa Community College.

Harmony received her CVT License in August of of 2004.

She also was the recipient of the “Team Player of the Year Award” formerly named (“Veterinary Technician of the Year”) awarded by The Veterinary Health Care Team of Arizona .Harmony has always been a lover of animals and is owned by 3 dogs, a Labrador, Pit mix named Sacoza, a Pit, Chow mix named Beau, and a Basset, Labrador named Nora.

Kim MacCrone has been in the veterinary field for 25 years. Kim became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1999. With her extensive experience in client education, pet care, medical and surgical assistance, Kim is a wonderful addition to our practice.

Kim is a Certified Veterinary Dental Technician and Dentistry is one of her favorite interests. For the past 15 years Kim has been working in the veterinary management position where she has written hospital protocols, training programs for both technicians and receptionists as well as Pima Medical and Carrington vet assistant students performing their externships.

Kim founded a pet network “Az Pet Professionals” and her own in home nursing care, “Vetek Chic On Wheels” where she assists clients on how to perform subcutaneous fluids to their pets in their home. Kim’s goal is to educate all pet parents she meets in positive and responsible pet ownership.

Kim has been a CPR and First Aid Instructor through Pet Tech International for 4 years and holds classes in Chandler.

Kim is owned by 5 kittens, (Frank, Judy, Olivia, Maverick and Goose) 3 adult cats, (So Low, Preshi, and Merle) a pitbull/lab named Miss Sammie, a shih tzu mix named Miss Charlie and a gentle Giant, Reagan, a 10 year old German Shepherd mix.
