Meet Our Tech. Assistants...
Here at Sun Lakes Animal Clinic we've assembled one of the finest staffs ever to work in any facility and its my great privilege to introduce our super tech. assistants... Lorie Laster is a super staff member. Lorie is a vital team member at our reception desk and a very handy person around the treatment table as well. She has over years veterinary clinic experience, having completed a seven year run at the highly respected Tri-City East Veterinary Hospital in Mesa before she came to us. She's an active member of the Veterinary Technician Association of Arizona and the American Animal Hospital Association. Lorie is currently owned by two Great Danes named Ruby and Riggs. Ashley Kuehn is one of the main anchors in our treatment area. She is very kind and compassionate with our patients and also very personable with the clients. Ashley's is a hard worker and her work ethic sets a standard for all the rest ofthe staff to match. She has extensive prior experience working with the Arizona Humane Society helping same orphaned, lost or abandonded puppies, kittens, dogs and cats and has also has worked extensively with the Wayne County Humane Society in Ohio. Ashley's an active member of the Veterinary Technician Association of Arizona and the American Animal Hospital Association. Ashley is currently owned by a Pomeranian named Jack, a Puggle (pug/beagle cross) named Annie and a Rottwieler named Denise along with a Beta fish named Barry. Let me tell you more about Ashley Kuehn... Watch out world! Here comes our newest Tech. Assistant, Mackenzie Reetz. Mackenzie comes to us with experience doing important work to help stray and lost pets at the Arizona Humane Society, in Phoenix. Mackenzie is a very concientious and dedicated staff member and is very compassionate toward our patients. Mackenzie's long term goal is to become a scientist working in the zoology field (studying animals) and she is currently enrolled in the Life Sciences ciriculum at Arizona State University. Mackenzie recently returned from a stint with the Center for Animal Rehabilitation & Education (CARE) in South Africa where she helped rehabiliate orphaned and injured Baboons for return to the wild (working with Baboons has prepared Mackenzie to work here with our staff!). Mackenzie's an active member of the Veterinary Technician Association of Arizona and the American Animal Hospital Association. So here's to Mackenzie Reetz, future zoologist! Let me tell you more about Mackenzie Reetz... Well, there you have it. The best crew I've ever worked with and certainly one of the best veterinary crews in any facility ever. - Randy Walker DVM
